CONDITION: case with minor scratches and dings, top with minor losses and lifting to veneer, mounts made of cast plastic, dial, dial pan and bezel are 20th century replacements, movement dirty, oily, escapement functional, pendulum with repair at top of one rod. It has been suggested that this may be an experimental piece or a patent model, based on research published in Frederick Shelley's, "Aaron Dodd Crane An American Original".
