DESCRIPTION:
E.C. Brewster, Bristol, Conn., 8 day, time and strike spring driven brass detached fusee movement round gothic or beehive shelf clock.
CONDITION:
Mahogany veneered case in an old finish has veneer repairs on the left front molding. The segments that make up the round door have shrunk at the seams. Original dial plate looks restored. Original hands and tablet. Movement is stamped "4921". A good example of Brewster's pioneering American-made spring-driven clock.
