DESCRIPTION:
Birge & Fuller, Bristol, Conn., 8 day, time and strike wagon spring driven brass movement steeple on frame with candle finials.
CONDITION:
Mahogany veneered case in an old finish has some veneer damage on the bottom door, a spot on the base left side, the cross piece above the bottom door, the right side molding below the candle finials and at the peak. Original center tablet with some loss to the black border. Bottom tablet has some age, but is a proper style replacement. Repainted original dial. Original hands. Movement is signed. Partial label inside.
