DESCRIPTION:
Ethel North, Torrington, Conn., 30 hour, time and strike, weight driven wood movement pillar and scroll shelf clock. Ethel was the brother of Norris North.
CONDITION:
Refinished mahogany veneered case has repairs on the base, the skirt and the door and also a repair to the left scroll ear. The half round molding just below the scrolls is replaced with a flat band. Correct "Torrington" style movement. The period wood dial has been nicely repainted in original design, but has plugged key holes. Replaced tablet. Nice set of period finials. Clean label inside
