DESCRIPTION:
Unknown maker, New Hampshire or possibly Maine, 8 day, time and strike weight driven brass movement mirror clock. This clock may have been made by William G. Emerson of Newport, Maine as he used a spiral spring to control the bell hammer..
CONDITION:
Mahogany veneered door in an old finish has shrinkage cracks in the veneer and some damage on the lower left corner. Backboard behind the period mirror replaced with plywood. The reverse painted dial glass is a replacement. Original painted dial has some loss at the mounting pins. Original hands with a repair to the minute hand.
