J. R. Mills & Co., New York, 30 day, time and strike, weight driven brass movement torsion shelf clock with Aaron D. Crane's patent three-ball pendulum.
CONDITION:
Mahogany veneered case in nice condition in an old finish. Gilding on the capitals and bases has some loss and discoloration from the overcoat. Original acid etched and cut glass tablet and original hands. One of the balls on the three ball pendulum has separated from the other two and will need attention. Original paper dial under glass is stained near the top. Original gilt brass dial surround. 30 day Crane clocks are rarer than many year models.
