CONDITION:
We have not tested the duration, but it is greater than 8 days and is most likely 30 days, possibly longer. This mahogany and maple case in generally nice condition has some lifting of the veneer in the bottom box behind the pendulum bob and a couple chips on the bottom bracket. The original enameled dial is fine. The seconds hand rotates once every two minutes. The steel rod pendulum runs off a knife edge suspension. The large hand indicates the minutes and based on the time of day the observer can tell that it is 3 minutes after one o'clock and not seven o'clock.

CONDITION:
nicely made cherry case with an Austrian coin inserted in the bottom bracket. Double wind brass weight movement that runs with two pendulums. The first pendulum regulates the timepiece and the second is a sympathetic pendulum that swings in unison with the first. The two pendulums also have an Austrian coin inserted in the center. Mr. Hurst reports this timepiece has running issues. It may be the support for the pendulum is not rigid enough and is causing the problem.

CONDITION:
Mahogany base has old finish, original silvered dial has paint loss to the numerals, original hands, brass case has wear to the lacquer finish.

CONDITION:
Movement is clean and running, polished brass case is in good overall condition with minor marks and spots. Dial has marks and dull areas with some paint loss to the numerals. Mahogany stand is homemade for display purposes.
