DESCRIPTION:
Seth Thomas, Plymouth, Conn., 30 hour, time and strike, weight driven wood movement off-center pendulum pillar & scroll shelf clock.
CONDITION:
30-hour strap plate four arbor wood movement. Mahogany & mahogany veneered case in nice condition in an old finish. Original painted dial has an added painted scene in the center that is inappropriate, but could be removed by a dial restorer. There have been some repairs to the feet and scrolls. Replaced tablet, but of proper style. Early-style lead hands. Modern set of proper type finials. Clean label inside.
