DESCRIPTION:
Ansonia Clock Co., New York, NY, "La Veta" shelf clock with a spring driven 8 day time and strike movement in a Royal Bonn porcelain case.
CONDITION:
This porcelain case is clearly marked "La Veta" on the case back. We have sold the "La Veta" model before (with a different painted decoration) . We have also had examples of this case with marked "La Barque". The Ansonia catalogs show this model as "La Barque" and do not show a porcelain case called "La Veta". This case is in very good condition with a nicely crazed finish. The signed porcelain dial is in good condition with one small chip by the strike winding arbor. The hands are original. The movement is signed.
