DESCRIPTION:
Chelsea Clock Co., Boston, Mass., "Tambour No. 4" mantel clock, 8 day, time and ship's bell strike spring driven lever movement in a solid brass case with special 5.5" silvered metal dial with applied numerals, serial #101208
CONDITION:
Brass case has darkened and spotted with age due to loss of lacquer. Dial has several scratches, especially around the winding arbors. Original hands. Movement is ticking and striking, but strike will need adjusting.
