France, a figural mystery clock with later torsion pendulum, the shaped onyx plinth on an ornamental cast base with scroll feet, supporting a well modeled, patinated spelter standing female figure, her right arm raised and suspending the torsion pendulum with dumbbell regulating weights and spherical clock case with 8 day timepiece movement, the figure and base late 19th century, the clock/ pendulum assembly late 20th century
CONDITION:
onyx with minor chips, cast base now painted gold, figure good with some losses to patination, clock a late 20th century replacement, movement will tick, but will not run while hanging, needs adjustment repair
