DESCRIPTION:
Chelsea Clock Co., Boston, Mass., 8 day, 8 1/2 in dial, time and ship's bell, spring driven brass lever movement boat or ward room marine timepiece, serial #111904
CONDITION:
Polished heavy cast brass case in nice condition has a ding on the front bezel and a bent area on the back flange at about 10:30. Original silvered dial has age darkened most likely from the yellowing of the lacquer coating and a small abraded spot near 2 o'clock. Original hands. Mahogany base has an old finish. Movement is ticking and striking.
