Germany, Black Forest "Uhrentrager" or clock peddler, the figure of polychrome painted sheet iron and in traditional dress, carrying a shield clock at his right fit with a Swiss lever escapement watch movement and dial, and with another clock slung over his back, his left hand clutching three pendulums, all mounted to a chamfered oak base, c1860
CONDITION:
Very good overall, with minor losses to paint, front clock missing weights, rear clock missing its hammer and bell, movement and dial replaced, working, base may be an old replacement, a rare survival, Ht 15"
