England, bracket clock retailed by Hamilton & Inches, Edinburg, Scotland in an ebonized hardwood case, composite brass dial, serpentine hands, 8 day, time, strike, Cambridge/8-bell chime spring driven fusee brass movement
CONDITION:
ebonized hardwood case in overall very good condition has scattered light dings and scratches and a shrinkage crack on the curved top, composite brass dial has lost most of the silver wash on the selectors and time bezels, original hands, movement is operational, but would benefit with a cleaning. Hamilton & Inches was formed in 1866 and sold luxury goods at their flagship store.
