Ketterer, Black Forest, Germany, "Harrenhausle" ash veneered architectural case with ornate graining, shingled roof and dormer with gingerbread fascia and corner downspouts, mirrored windows and cuckoo door with applied shutters, painted metal dial, steel hands, 8 day wood plate time and strike double fusee spring driven pendulum movement, c1885

Nice example of this rare and desirable model, lower portion of accent molding and finial on bottom bracket missing, top flourish on front dormer fascia molding detached and with repair, right side of case with splitting of veneer and small loss at upper front corner, left cuckoo door with chip to upper mirrored pane, original painted metal dial in very good overall with surface scratch and small chips in center area, oversized cuckoo bird retains its original paint, original hands, movement with newer cable fusees, left bellow and pipe a replacement, pendulum missing. Although this exact model appears in the Johann Baptsit Beha catalog as model No. 404, this example can be attributed to the Ketterer firm as the movement features several Ketterer characteristics. Beha and Ketterer utilized the same case makers for their clocks
