Chelsea Clock Co., Boston, Mass., for Harrison & Co., Montreal, marine clock, 8 day, time and ship strike, spring-driven jeweled movement with lever escapement in a polished brass case with hinged bezel, the arabic numeral silvered dial with 7 inch chapter ring, black steel Breguet style hands.
CONDITION:
case with hazy lacquer, no major dents or scratches, signed silvered dial with some dark tarnish, dial retaining ring absent, paint loss on hands, bezel latch weak, small losses to black fill within numerals, movement serial number 129465. In all likelihood, Chelsea advertised this clock as having an 8 inch dial.
