DESCRIPTION:
Gebrüder Junghans, Schramberg, Germany, "Elegant" swinging mystery clock, 8 day, time only, spring driven movement contained in a compound pendulum held aloft by a female figure in flowing dress, arabic numeral white enamel dial, and blued steel hands.
CONDITION:
patination on cast spelter figure is quite good with a few small scratches near the base. There are some small scratches on the ebonized wood base. The swing arm has been polished so the gilding is gone, revealing bright brass and copper surfaces. Unsigned enamel dial is very good.
