DESCRIPTION:
Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Beloit" shelf clock with a spring driven, 8 day, time, strike and alarm movement in a walnut case with burl accents.
CONDITION:
The case is in excellent condition with original finish. The original painted dial is in very good condition although somewhat darkened. The hands are original. The lyre movement is signed. The nickel pendulum bob is nicely damascened. The stenciled door glass is original. The case back shows a factory date of February 1886.
