"Lafayette" pocket watch, 18 size, 24 jewels, stem wind and lever set, adjusted to 5 positions and temperature, damascened nickel plate movement with lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance with gold screws, gold jewel settings, and whiplash micrometric regulator in a nickel, screw back and bezel open face case, the back with engraved locomotive, arabic numeral, outer red 5-minute markers, single sunk white enamel dial with blued steel spade hands, serial #2592159
CONDITION:
CASE: Scattered dings; Very fine scratches on outer surface of case; Bezel replaced, too small for case; Crown worn. DIAL: Hairlines; Lacking two feet; Loose. HANDS: Mismatched. MOVEMENT PLATES: Very fine scratches on plate; Scattered, fine scratches on plate; Cluster of fine scratches and pin pricks on barrel bridge; Long, fine scratch at "Adjusted" marking; Localized specks of corrosion; Regulator assembly with specks of oxide. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks).
