Wheeler" pocket watch, 12 size, 17 jewels, stem wind and set, adjusted, damascened nickel plate movement with lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, and Moseley micrometric regulator in a 14 karat, yellow gold, engine turned and beautifully engraved hunting case, arabic numeral O'Hara style multicolor enamel dial with Louis XIV style hands, serial #14057881, 70.5g TW
CONDITION: CASE: Case has housed another movement; Very fine scratches on outer surface of case; Very fine scratches on cuvette; Localized case knife marks and fine scratches; Lacking front cover lift spring; Lacking crystal; Crown with wear; Precious metal content marked. DIAL: Dirty, otherwise very good. HANDS: Tarnish. MOVEMENT PLATES: Numerous fine scratches on plate; Winding wheels with specks of oxide; Regulator assembly with oxide. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks).
