Clebar, LeLocle, a mid 20th century ref. 1198 wrist chronograph, 17 jewels, manual winding rhodium plated movement with lever escapement, in a round stainless steel case with yellow leather strap, arrow marker silver dial with arabic 12 and 30 minute register, hour register, and constant seconds at 3, 6, and 9:00 respectively, polished silver dauphine hands, serial #105824, 35mm
CONDITION:
CASE: Very fine scratches and dings on outer surface of case; Case back with fine scratches, a few dings, and a deep case wrench scratch; Tiny area of pitting to left of crown; Acrylic crystal; Strap good. DIAL: Minor losses to printing, particularly at edge, between 12 and 2:00. HANDS: Lacking luminous compound. MOVEMENT PLATES: Scattered very fine scratches on plate; A few screw heads with minor marring; Regulator with minor localized oxide. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks). COMPLICATION: Working; Chronograph hand does not come to rest at 12 when reset, hand tube needs tightening.
