DESCRIPTION: Ithaca Calendar Clock Co., Ithaca, NY, "No. 3 1/2 Parlor" mantel clock in a walnut case with carved and turned ebonized ornament and repairman's label inside, paper time dial with glass calendar dial, nickel plated moon hands, cut glass pendulum bob, eight day spring driven E.N. Welch time and strike movement with an H. B. Horton patented perpetual calendar mechanism
CONDITION: Case in good condition with original finish, backboard appears to be a replacement and is unsecured with a crack in the frame, some separation of wood on right hand side of the crown, ebonized components in good condition although silver edges appear newly painted, paper time dial with significant loisses, original pendulum and glass bob retain their plating, calendar glasses appear to be period, bezel has been repaired and will not close; glass possibly replaced, substandard bushings to both second wheels; movement ticks and strikes
