DESCRIPTION: American Waltham Watch Co., Waltham, Mass., a model 1908 "Vanguard" pocket watch with wind indicator, 23 jewels, stem wind and lever set, adjusted to 6 positions and temperature, damascened nickel plate movement with lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance with gold screws, gold jewel settings, and Ohlson micrometric regulator in a gold filled, screw back and bezel, engraved open face case, arabic numeral, triple sunk white enamel dial with blued steel spade and poker hands, serial #26965041
CONDITION: CASE: A few dings; Very fine scratches on outer surface of case; Fine scratch on inner surface of case; Acrylic crystal; Bow with minor brassing. DIAL: Dirty, otherwise very good. HANDS: Very good. MOVEMENT PLATES: Very fine scratches on plate; A few fine scratches on plate; Ratchet wheel with fine scratches; Regulator with specks of oxide; Specks of dirt. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks); Wind indicator functional.
