Hamilton Watch Co., Lancaster, Penn., an early 20th century grade "992 Special" pocket watch, 16 size, 21 jewels, stem wind and lever set, adjusted to 5 positions, temperature and isochronism, two tone damascened nickel plate movement with lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance with gold screws, gold jewel settings, and whiplash micrometric regulator in a nickel, snap back and bezel, Hamilton display case, Ferguson arabic numeral, double sunk white enamel dial with blued steel hands, serial #703695
CONDITION:
CASE: Dings and pin pricks; Fine scratches on outer surface of case; Localized case knife marring; Front bezel does not snap tight to case; Front bezel crystal loose; Band with spot of corrosion; One crystal with small edge chip. DIAL: Minor dirt, otherwise very good. HANDS: Minute an incorrect replacement. MOVEMENT PLATES: A few very fine scratches on plate; Scratches on balance cock under regulator; Winding wheels with a few spots of oxide; Regulator assembly with specks of oxide; One case screw head polished. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks).
