Hamilton Watch Co., Lancaster, Penn., a mid 20th century grade "950B" pocket watch, 16 size, 23 jewels, stem wind and lever set, adjusted to 6 positions, temperature and isochronism damascened nickel plate movement with lever escapement, monometallic balance with gold screws and whiplash micrometric regulator in a gold filled, screw back and bezel, open face bar over crown case with engraved presentation on back, arabic numeral, double sunk white enamel dial marked "Hamilton 23 Jewels Railway Special", with black baton hands, serial #S11226
CONDITION:
CASE: Dings, band; Very fine scratches on outer surface of case; Dings on inner surface of case; Inside of back with case screw scratch; Gold filled with very minor brassing. DIAL: Faint hairline, 2:30; Faint hairlines at center. HANDS: Good. MOVEMENT PLATES: Very fine marks and scratches on plate. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks).
