American Waltham Watch Co., Waltham, Mass., an early 20th century model 1892 "Crescent St." pocket watch, 18 size, 21 jewel, stem wind and lever set, adjusted, damascened nickel plate movement with lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance with gold screws, gold jewel settings, and Church micrometric regulator in a gold filled, screw back and bezel, engraved open face case, the back with gold buck and multicolor foliage, arabic numeral, double sunk, Fitch patent staggered marginal minute white enamel dial with blued steel spade and poker hands, serial #11001765
CONDITION:
CASE: Case has housed another movement; Shallow dents; Rear cover with two holes at edge; ornament at case bottom worn through; Dings and fine scratches; Engraving with significant wear; Gold filled with significant brassing; Back and bezel threads worn; Crystal with minor flakes and glue residue; Crown shell worn through. DIAL: A few faint hairlines, otherwise very good. HANDS: Hour with minor loss to blue. MOVEMENT PLATES: Fine scratches on plate; Balance cock with scratches; Winding wheels with minor oxide; Regulator with specks of oxide; Some screw heads with minor marring and specks of oxide; Some jewel settings with marring. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks).
