DESCRIPTION: Hamilton Watch Co., Lancaster, Penn., an early 20th century grade "961" pocket watch, 16 size, 21 jewels, stem wind and set, adjusted to 5 positions, temperature and isochronism, damascened nickel plate movement with lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance with gold screws, gold jewel settings, gold wheel train and whiplash micrometric regulator in an 18 karat, yellow gold, engraved hunting case, arabic numeral, outer red 5-minute markers, double sunk white enamel dial, blued steel Breguet style hands, serial #81674, 101.6g TW
CONDITION: CASE: Case has housed another movement; Dents; Fine scratches on outer surface of case; Cuvette with minor dents and fine scratches; Rear cover will not close, hinge tube split; Crown with wear; Precious metal content marked. DIAL: Dirty, otherwise very good. HANDS: Minor bends and losses to color, minute. MOVEMENT PLATES: Fine marks and scratches on plate; Spot of corrosion on center bridge; Escape and balance jewel settings with minor marring; Dirty. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks).
