DESCRIPTION: France, a good early 20th century figural swinging mystery clock, the composition after Aristide Ranieri's "Girl at the Fountain", the standing, patinated female figure leaning forward to examine her reflection in a pool bordered by lily pads and cattail leaves, the reservoir fed by the stone fountain at her left, her right arm raised and holding a flower to her head, and suspending the gridiron style pendulum with patinated, spherical bob within a champleve enamel ring, and also containing the eight day, two train movement, striking the hour and half hour on a bell
CONDITION: a bit dirty and with minor losses to finish, more significant finish loss on the woman's dress, small bit of brass trim at the top of the center pendulum rod needs to be secured, pendulum and sphere good, will run and strike, pendulum suspension with bends, internal suspension with bends, would benefit from service
