Reeve, hardwood case with arch top, simple molded base, door with thick beveled glass and glazed viewing apertures at the sides, large, seconds beating round movement with skeletonized front plate, four legged gravity escapement, roman numeral silvered chapter ring, blued steel hands and center seconds, pendulum with cylindrical brass clad bob, and brass clad weight, together with the book detailing the construction of such a clock, and two spare suspension springs
